Guest management for boat owners

Stop running your boat
on WhatsApp.

Berthr handles trip invitations, RSVPs, reminders, and guest questions — so you can spend your energy on sailing, not admin.

No credit card required  ·  Free tier, always

Boat owners are already doing all of this —
just very, very badly.

How Berthr works

Everything a captain needs.
Nothing they don't.

From the first invite to the final log entry — the operational side of sailing, handled.

Invites and RSVPs, handled

Add guests, set a trip date, and Berthr sends SMS invitations automatically. Guests reply YES or NO by text — no app, no account required. You see who's in on the dashboard in real time.

Questions

A few things captains ask.

Anything else, email us at [email protected]

Do my guests need to download an app?

No. Guests interact entirely via SMS and a mobile web link — no account, no app store, nothing to install. Less friction for guests means more RSVPs for you.

How does SMS work?

SMS is included in Crew and Captain plans — just use it. Invites, reminders, and replies all flow through Berthr. No Twilio account or third-party setup required.

What's the AI chatbot?

A Claude-powered assistant you configure with your boat's details — marina, parking, what to bring, trip info. Guests ask it anything before or after a sail, by text or on the web.

What's in the voyage log?

A full captain's logbook — voyages, multi-leg passages, engine hours as a running meter, and boat events like maintenance, fuel, haul-outs, and winterization. Weather auto-filled for each sail date.

Can I cancel my plan?

Plans are annual. If Berthr isn't for you, the Free tier is always available and your data stays intact. No surprise auto-renewals.

Is my guest data safe?

Yes. Guest data is stored securely, never shared or sold. Any guest can opt out of SMS at any time — managed directly from your dashboard.
